Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information?

GGMachines Gaming Solutions Limited (company number 688436), trading as GGMachines, is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Contact us at info@ggmachines.ie, +353 87 360 9905, or Unit 18, Western Parkway Business Centre, Ballymount, Dublin 12, D12 V8XT, Ireland. Please put “Privacy request” in the subject line of a privacy enquiry.

This policy covers our website, daily price list, PC Builder, online orders, customer enquiries and related after-sales services. It explains how we use information under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and applicable Irish data-protection law.

2. What information do we use?

Orders and enquiries: your name, email address, telephone number where supplied, billing or delivery information, products and quantities, selected PC components and options, order references, correspondence and any notes you choose to send us. Delivery details are required where we need to ship your order.

PC Builder: the configuration and contact details you send to our sales team, and the configuration added to your cart or order. “Send to our sales team” is an enquiry, not an order. “Save build summary” downloads a copy for you; it does not itself send an enquiry to our team.

Payments and refunds: the amount, payment status, order reference and payer/account information provided by our bank or by you to identify a transfer or arrange a refund. Our shared online checkout uses bank transfer and does not ask for your card number, card security code or online-banking credentials. Do not send us passwords, PINs or banking security codes.

Website and account use: cart and session identifiers, IP address, browser/device information, security logs and, if you create or use a member account, the account and order details needed to provide that service. Optional analytics or advertising information depends on your cookie choices and the features in use.

Support, repairs and returns: information about the product, serial number, fault, service history and communications. A device you provide may contain personal information. Back up your files and remove information we do not need before handing it over. Tell us about access restrictions; access needed for diagnosis or an agreed service should be limited to that purpose. Please do not include sensitive personal details in general order notes.

We obtain information directly from you, through your use of the website, and where necessary from our banks, delivery providers and service providers about payment, delivery or service status.

3. Why we use it, and our legal bases

Contract and steps you request before a contract: preparing a quotation, responding to a build enquiry, handling your cart and order, matching payment, arranging delivery or collection, providing agreed repairs and communicating about fulfilment.

Legal obligations: keeping tax and accounting records, meeting consumer-law duties, and responding to lawful requests from competent authorities.

Legitimate interests: securing the website, preventing and investigating fraud, resolving complaints and legal claims, maintaining essential business records and responding to business enquiries. We consider the necessity of the processing and its impact on your rights. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Consent: optional cookies and similar technologies where consent is required, and marketing where we rely on consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Consent to marketing is not a condition of buying from us.

Order confirmations, payment queries, collection messages and other necessary service communications are not marketing subscriptions. Where marketing is sent, you can use the unsubscribe option or email us to stop it. We will respect an objection to direct marketing.

Some contact, order and payment information is necessary to fulfil an order or meet a legal obligation. Without it, we may be unable to provide the requested service. Optional fields and marketing consent are not required for an order.

4. Who receives information?

Our authorised team uses information for the purposes above. We share only the information needed with relevant service providers: Wix for website hosting, site functions, customer records, carts, orders, forms and transactional communications; banks for transfers and refunds; delivery providers for shipping; and IT/support providers and professional advisers where needed.

A manufacturer, supplier or repair partner may need limited product, fault and contact information to carry out an agreed warranty or repair process. We may disclose information to regulators, courts, law enforcement or other parties when legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal rights. Recipients are not given permission to use your order information for unrelated marketing simply because they help us fulfil an order.

If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp or a social network, or follow a link to another website, that provider also handles information under its own privacy terms. Avoid sending unnecessary confidential information through these channels.

5. International processing

Wix and some service providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must be covered by an applicable European Commission adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as approved Standard Contractual Clauses, together with necessary additional measures. Wix describes its international processing and safeguards in its privacy information. Contact us if you would like information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

6. How long do we keep it?

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including applicable legal requirements. Tax and accounting records are generally retained for six years, and longer where a specific legal requirement or unresolved matter requires this.

Order, warranty, repair and complaint records are retained for the relevant service period and any necessary period for legal claims. Enquiries that do not become orders are retained only while needed to respond, follow up or resolve the matter. Account information is retained while the account is in use and as needed for associated obligations. Security records and cookie identifiers follow their purpose and applicable retention settings. We may retain a minimal suppression record to ensure we honour a marketing opt-out.

When deciding retention, we consider the type of information, why it is needed, statutory periods, warranty or service obligations, and any unresolved dispute. Deleting an account does not automatically erase records we must lawfully retain.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary technologies help the website work, including security, session management, remembering your privacy choices and keeping the cart usable. Consent is not required for technologies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you request.

Optional analytics, advertising and other non-essential technologies require your consent where applicable. Use the cookie banner’s Settings to review the categories offered, accept or decline optional use and change available choices. You can also manage cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies may affect the cart or checkout. Contact us if you need help changing a choice or withdrawing consent. Your privacy rights do not depend on accepting optional cookies.

Embedded or linked third-party services may have their own notices and controls. The choices offered by our consent tool relate to the technologies enabled on the site; this policy is not a statement that every possible analytics or advertising service is active.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in data-protection law, you can request access to your information, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing or transfer of certain information to you or another provider. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and object at any time to direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it.

Email info@ggmachines.ie or write to the address above. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month. If a permitted extension is needed because of complexity or the number of requests, we will explain this within that month; the extension may be up to two additional months. We will explain if a legal exception prevents us from fulfilling part of a request.

You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie, or to the supervisory authority in the EU/EEA country where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to resolve a concern.

The PC Builder’s selection and compatibility features help you choose products; they do not constitute automated credit approval or a decision on your legal rights. Contact our team for a human review of a build or order query.

9. Security and changes to this policy

We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect information and restrict access according to business need. No website, email service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. If you suspect misuse of your order or account information, contact us promptly using our published details.

We update this policy when our services, processing or legal obligations change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required. This policy explains data handling; our Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refunds Policy explain your purchase and cancellation rights.
